Corning Rotary Sponsors Regional Spelling Bee
Campbell-Savona High School was the site of the 14th annual Regional Spelling Bee on March 5, 2015. The 'Bee' is sponsored by the Corning Rotary Club. A team of 8 Rotarians produced the event, won by 12 year old Jairam Hathwar, a sixth grader at Corning's Alternative School for Math and Science. Jairam's next stop is the Scripp's National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, MD May 24 - 29, where he will be cheered on by brother
