Visiting Rotarians and Guests: 
  • Nino, 12th grade Rotary Exchange student France.  She has been here for two months and is playing soccer for CPPHS.  Her host family is the Strong family; the Barret family is the second host family. Nino's favorite classes are: ceramics; care and first aid for athletic injuries
  • Ted Goldwyn introduced the HSLC guests from the Interact Club; Amanda, Liv and Mandy; Dave Quackenbush;  The Interact Club has logged over 350 volunteer hours so far this year!
Ross Perry and Al Lewis, welcome back to the club!!

  • Sad to hear about Merle Platt’s passing.  In our thoughts and prayers. 
  • Ray shared highlights about his presentation schedule on the SOYODI Global Grant.
  • Shout out and recognition of the many Wineglass Marathon volunteers.  Great attendance.

  • 11/15 6-8 pm Social Event; Wine Club event at the Goldwyn home:
    • Wine Socials are Back!
      • Join us for an evening of Rotary fellowship at the home of Ted & Maria Goldwyn on Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
        We are asking all Rotarians to bring 2 out of the following 3 items to the wine social: a bottle of your favorite beverage, a dish to pass, and/or a potential member (spouses/partners don’t count, unless they are legitimately interested in joining Rotary!)

  • Active in: Southern Tier India Association; Southern Tier Inter-Faith;
  • Loved networking with people and India dancing
 
Program:  “Create Hope in the World” by Dave Hannan [previously a DG] and originally from the Newark area; currently District 7120 Foundation Chair.

  • Dave presented a couple awards and gave a presentation on the Rotary project which began in 1985...Eradicate Polio campaign 
    • Wendy Winnett: 2018-2019 Club President: End Polio Now campaign -- certificate of appreciation
    • Jan Harvey- 2019-2020 Rotary Club President: Citation Platinum Award:  UNITE and TAKE ACTION -- record number of clubs earning this certificate.  Thank you Jan for your leadership.
