Next Club Meeting: April 14, 2022. The next regular lunch-time meeting will be an in-person, hybrid meeting on April 14, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church in Corning. Please use this ZOOM link if you cannot attend in person.

Notes from President Jeff Ugoretz:
  • On behalf of the Rotary Club of Corning, thank you to all who organized and participated in the Pints for Polio fundraiser on March 30.  Over $1,400 was raised for Polio Plus.
  • Also, thank you to everyone who made our Ukraine fundraising dinner such a huge success! Preliminary numbers suggest that we successfully raised over $8,700 to help Ukrainian refugees.  As promised, 100% of the amount raised will go to the Rotary Foundation Disaster Response Fund for Ukraine.  Further information as to how the funds will be distributed can be found at www.rotary.org/en/rotary-foundation-creates-channel-direct-humanitarian-support-ukraine-region.
  • It was wonderful to see such a high level of participation from our club members and members of the Corning community. Without you this would not have been possible.  I am proud to be a part of such a warm-hearted, giving community.  In a world where there is so much chaos and despair, acts of compassionate service such as this give us ample reason to hope for a better tomorrow.
