Program:

The program started with two Paul Harris pins being awarded to Dr. Kathleen Hallinan and Gretta Tomb.

The PH award was given to Kathleen to recognize her incredible service to our community. From being the first woman to serve as a volunteer firefighter for the Painted Post Fire Department to her work as a physician in the Guthrie system, Kathleen has selflessly worked in promoting positive change in the community through education, advocacy, volunteerism, compassion and understanding.   She joined the Regional Medical Advisory Committee that oversees the pre-hospital medical practice of EMT’s and Paramedics. Her passions have brought her to advocate for some of the most under-served and vulnerable. She currently is championing new protocols to aide patients with mental health crisis who need immediate medical attention that could avoid escalation, incarceration or physical self-harm.

Gretta was surprised as she was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by Ernie for her generous donations to the Rotary International Foundation. Congratulations, Gretta!

Our program today was presented by Dr. Hallinan on the topic of the new GLP-1 drugs used in weight reduction.

Video of this meeting will be available and added to COGS when Andy Rochester is back from his much deserved vacation!
