Community Service / Opportunities:
  • The next one currently scheduled will be at the Salvation Army -- the Shepherd's Table event at the end of this month. We'll be looking for for some cooking! [at home, to be dropped off at Salvation Army for the event]. More to come.
Program [included in zoom recording]:  Jeff Ugoretz presented a film entitled “The Boys of 1905”, which detailed the founding and early development of the original Rotary Club in 1905 in Chicago, ILL. The film (which was in remarkably good condition) showed such details as the founding fathers, the building where the original meetings were held, and the Club’s initial practices and customs. Jeff led the meeting in a discussion of what is the same in Rotary today as in the original meetings; what has changed; and what do we do better? The film can be viewed by clicking here.
