


President Dale called the meeting to order at 12:03 PM. After the singing of My Country ‘Tis of Thee and the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, Gil Sweet gave the invocation.
President Dale then recognized the service providers:

Guests and Visiting Rotarians - introduced Cory, a mortgage originator at the Corning Credit Union, who was with us for the second time.
Announcements - President Dale announced that the next meeting will be the first Thursday in August at the Radisson. Colleen Fabrizi will be our speaker. Please make your lunch reservation for that meeting. The 50/50 raffle will be restored that week.
With respect to the Camp STAR golf tournament, several gift certificates, 9 bottles of wine (+ 4 from Les received at the meeting), and several sponsorships have been collected. Dale congratulated the club on its support.


Good news - Gil announced that he had walked 20 steps down to the lake. He is making progress. That is good news. Wendy noted that she was pleased with the response to Camp Star.
President's Time - Since there was no speaker scheduled for the day, Dale took the time to share with the club some of the things that people say which he has collected in a book over the past 45 years.
These were incorporated into his message of the habits of very effective people... Among the points he made were:
- A person needs to be appreciated
- Be a teacher and a learner
- Laugh with Yourself and Others
- Keep yourself in contextHave confidence and Faith
