President Jeff called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m. with the ringing of the virtual bell. He followed this with a video rendition of This Land is Your Land, a song by Woody Guthrie. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Jeff played another video of a musical version of the Four Way Test, sung by the Saskatoon Nutana club.Club Service:

Guests: we had one guest; Dale introduced Jen Batzing. This is her second meeting and there are hopes that we will be seeing her membership application soon. Announcements:
- It was announced that Kate Foss is undergoing surgery today. We wish her Godspeed with her recovery.
- Jeff noted that Monday we said good by to Brent Wedding. There were two pews filled with Rotarians at his service.
Birthdays in Jan. Sam Sanfratello turned 77 on Wednesday. – John Sirianni had a birthday on the 7th, Ted Goldwyn will celebrate on the 16th, Nora will celebrate on the 19th, Wendy Winnett on the 23rd and Andy Rochester will be 66 on the 23rd. It was also noted that former member Elijah Baity has a January birthday. We wish him well.
Wendy W was happy to announce that we have completed all the requirements for the District Simplified Grant. All of the paperwork has been completed so we should be getting a check from the district soon. As a reminder, the DSG went to support the Arts Festival last summer.
Program: Yumiko Akiba introduced Kim Frock and Jessica Ortiz from the Alternative School for Math and Science (ASMS). They provided us with a very inspiring presentation. We encourage you to watch the video in case you missed it.
