Mary Ellen and President Ernie met during the Harvest Festival and Ernie learned about the amazing work that Mary Ellen and her husband have been doing. After the presentation as we talked about the impact of her work and ongoing needs for volunteers and students, Damien stepped up with an offer to involve the Scouts in the work, Gail mentioned the new demonstration / teaching kitchens at the YMCA -- a perfect venue for Mary Ellen's teaching, and Stu-Andy offered to help with volunteer scheduling and work with the pantries. A perfect coming together of people with a common goal of working together for and with our community ...
50:50:Stu had the winning number .... but not the jackpot.
