 Next Club Meeting: May 5, 2022: an in-person, hybrid meeting at the First Presbyterian Church in Corning. Please use this ZOOM link if you cannot attend in person. Guests: Jen Batzing Announcements: - We need two representatives from the club to sit on the board of Camp Star. If you have any
 interest in helping out with this contact President Jeff or President-Elect Stu Sammis. The Camp Star Board plans to run the camp at the YMCA retreat at Watson Homestead this summer. - The club has raised more than $10,250 for Ukraine relief through the Rotary International Disaster Response Fund. Another fundraiser is being planned for Thursday, May 19th. A Pierogi and Kielbasa Dinner is planned at the American Legion in South Corning. The American Legion is donating their facility for this dinner! We will need volunteers to staff the dinner. Details to come next week. Sign up here.
- The Chemung Riverbank Clean-Up on Saturday, April 23rd collected about 20 large bags of trash and 3 tires. Five Rotarians were assisted by 13 volunteers from the Chemung River Friends. The clean-up was part of the Rotary District 7120 Great Lakes Watershed Clean-up.
 Bill Boland crowed about the blossoms opening on the cherry trees along the Rotary Cherry Blossom Trail in Denison Park. The fancy sign has arrived as have the benches sponsored by the Community Foundation. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony is being planned for mid-May. Keep your eyes on this spot for more details but in the meantime, take a stroll on the trail!- Andy Rochester asked for help with this spring's highway clean-up to be held Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.
