After three years of research and community collaboration, Barbara Hall Blumer, has completed an amazing, thoroughly researched documentation of Corning’s People Wall from 1976 detailing who the 150 people selected for the mural are, who wasn’t selected for the mural, and how the mural came to be. You can read their stories, see their photos, and explore a snapshot in time of the citizens of Corning. It is a wonderful gift to the community.
The books are $76 + tax and must be pre-ordered by November 2, 2023. The official publication date is November 20, 2023.
All proceeds benefit the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society and Heritage Village of the Finger lakes.
