From Andy Rochester:Wrap up of the Spring Cleanup April 29, 30, May 1: The weather finally cooperated and gave us temperate and rain-free days for the cleanup. Friday afternoon, Wendy Winnett and Andy Rochester cleaned the first stretch. Saturday morning, Paul Tick joined Andy in doing the second portion of the highway and Sunday morning, Andy finished up the final part! We filled a half case of bags — 25! A BIG THANK YOU to Andy for all his efforts. Next cleanup will be in the summer, depending upon on the level of new litter …. and the final cleanup will be in the fall, after the first freeze.
