Next Club Meeting: January 27, 2022, ZOOM LINK We are currently meeting only by Zoom. There is no in-person meeting component for the immediate future. This is only temporary. Thanks to all who have made suggestions on new venues. President Jeff called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. with the ringing of the virtual bell. He followed this with a video rendition of America the Beautiful, sung by Ray Charles. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Jeff played another video of a musical version of the Four Way Test, sung by the Oyster Bay, Tanzania club. Wendy Winnett delivered the invocation. Guests: we had one guest; Dale introduced Jen Batzing. This is her third meeting and we she will be submitting her membership application soon. Announcements: - Jeff announced that he has been working with Kiwanis Club and Lions Club regarding a joint meeting. The date of February 17th has been chosen and we will meet at Carey’s Brew House. The speaker will be our own Mayor Boland.
No other announcements at that time, but Gil Sweet added two announcements prior to the end of the meeting:- First, Monday morning the Corning Civic Music website will go live, and anyone can begin purchasing tickets.
- Secondly, the Jewish community will again be doing a nosh of the month instead of the Jewish Food Festival. It will be starting shortly, and Gil will update us with the details.

Program: Paula introduced Christine Stull from the Science & Discovery Center. Christine discussed a major remembrance program of the Agnes flood of 1972 for which they are seeking sponsorship money. See the video for details.
